The Campolindo Varsity boys golf team started the new season with two victories in its first pre-season matches.

In the first match of the year, the Cougars traveled to Diablo Creek Golf Course in Concord, where they played in a tri-match with Concord and Acalanes High Schools.  The match with Concord was the one that counted this time and Campo came through with strong  performances from sophomore John Lagomarsino and Junior Jacob Ryerson, who both shot  4-over 40s to share medalist honors.  Ryan Brown, Austin Walker and Joe Marinai rounded out the scoring to lead Campo to victory over Concord.

Campo followed that up with another win, this time on its home course at Moraga Country Club vs. Castro Valley.  The match came down to the final holes, but sophomore Baron Szeto led the way with an even par 35. Brown followed with a 41, senior Justin Feldman carded a 42, and Lagomarsino posted a 44.  Ryerson and Joey Schmidt rounded out the Campo effort.
