Dear Campo Swim Families,
What we all thought of as an impossibility two months ago actually happened on Friday evening: Senior Recognition Night and the Campo vs. Miramonte Meet could not have taken place without the determination of our Coaches; John, Ron and Dom, and the creativity of Abby Buckley. Many thanks for everything you all did to create a truly memorable event! Shout outs also need to be given to Berrin Yavuzer and Will Judd, our outstanding videographer team for making it possible for those at home to watch the events, and to Jon Levy and Matt Ehrenberger for picking up the microphone—last minute—and taking on the role of Announcers! Volunteers--Marshals, Desk Team, Timers, Starter, and Photographers—you are the foundation that makes these meets run smoothly, and we are incredibly grateful for your time and flexibility. Thank you all! Meet results will be released this week.
Help us celebrate our Campo Senior Swimmers' final week the best we can in our COVID times with a SECRET BUDDIES FOR SENIOR CAMPO SWIMMERS program! Please deliver one "gift” on Tuesday and one on the day of your senior's final meet (Friday or Sat). It is up to you what to give and it can be really simple--a hand made gift card, candy, balloons, flowers, a poem, car paint decoration--anything to celebrate them (think Dollar store).
Deliver to the pool, their house, have a friend give it to them at school, or put on their car in the parking lot! You can even team up with another swimmer but EVERY SENIOR needs a buddy or we can't do it at all.
Remember—this is a SECRET! Please see this Sign Up Genius to join in the fun.

In a competition year shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic, there were 1,087 swimmers whose efforts in the classroom and in the pool successfully earned them the title of Scholastic All American by USA Swimming. The honor is given to 9-12th grade students who maintain a minimum 3.5 grade point average and have swum an individual pool time equal to or faster than the 2019 Winter Junior qualifying time in any individual event from August 16, 2019-August 31, 2020........
