Tryouts for Varsity,  and then JV, will be in early February 2022.  You may try out for both (continuing on to JV if you don't make Varsity) , or just for JV.  There may or may not be cuts for JV, depending on how many boys try out.

Varsity Tryouts

Feb. 7, 8, and 9 (Mon, Tues, Wed) 3:30-6:00.  You are expected to attend all three days.  First team practice on Monday, Feb. 14.

Junior Varsity Tryouts

Feb. 10 and 11 (Thurs, Fri) 3:30-5:45.  You are expected to attend both days.  First team practice on Monday, Feb. 14.

BRING TO TRYOUTS AND PRACTICE:

• FILLED WATER BOTTLES (NO WATER AVAILABLE AT THE COURT)
• RACQUET (AND A SPARE, IF YOU HAVE ONE)
• TENNIS, NOT RUNNING, SHOES
• SHORTS OR PANTS WITH POCKETS THAT CAN HOLD TWO TENNIS BALLS
• HAT OR VISOR (0PTIONAL)

  YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON COURT IF YOU ARE NOT SHOWN AS CLEARED ON THE WEBSITE.  THERE IS OFTEN A FULL DAY'S DELAY BETWEEN TURNING IN YOUR PAPERS AND THE WEBSITE BEING UPDATED.  PLEASE PLAN AHEAD!

Varsity Practice will be held Mon-Thurs 3:15-5:00.  JV Practice will initially be held Mon-Thurs 4:45-6:00pm.  As the year progresses and we have more late sunlight, we will transition to our regular practice time, 5:00-6:30pm.  

Some practices will be supplanted by matches against other schools in the Diablo Athletic League - Foothill Division.  Matches run from 3:00 (pre-match warm-up) to about 5:30 or 6:00pm.  Before the Daylight Savings change (March 13), home matches will officially begin at 3:15, after the change at 3:30.

JV Season ends April 26.  Varsity will go longer because of playoffs.
