And that's a wrap! Thanks, Seniors for playing with all your heart and keeping Campo volleyball traditions alive. Good luck to you as you take the next step in your journey.
The Class of 2021! Laura, Erin, Bri, Kate, Olivia, Madison, Nicole, and Molly
If you are new to Campo Volleyball and interested in receiving email updates about summer open gyms, camps, and Fall 2021 tryouts, please complete this form.
At this time, we do not know what format will be allowed for open gyms or camps. When we know, information will be posted on this website. We hope to have open gyms starting in late June and a fundraiser camp in late July or early August.
All Campolindo High School students participating in athletics (including tryouts) during the 2021-2022 school year must complete the mandatory Athletics Clearance & Registration process (See SportsNet Registration tab). Students must be fully cleared in order to try out or participate. Students only need to be cleared once to participate in one, two, or three sports during the school year. The seven-digit Campo student identification number is required for athletics registration. Families of incoming freshmen will receive their student's identification number via mail by the end of June.
Athletic Registration and Clearance begins July 1.
Tryouts will most likely take place the first week of school.
Campo Athletic Boosters will be offering Sports Physicals and Athletic Clearances for any Campo student interested in participating in the school's 2021-22 athletic program. This is a fundraiser for Boosters and a great way to complete the required physical for athletic clearance. There will be two different dates for the Sports Physicals - one on July 22nd from 6:30pm-8:30pm and the other on Cougar Day, August 9th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. As we get closer to these dates, there will be more information about how to register for these events (be sure to read the Campo Parents Club newsletters. And, as always, the most current Athletic registration information is available on campoathletics.com under the Registration Tab.
1. Players will test weekly through AUHSD (at no cost) on Mondays.
No sign up is needed but players need to arrive EVERY MONDAY prepared with two items: their completed covid testing request form and a copy of their medical insurance card (both FRONT and BACK). Testing alternates each Monday between Campolindo and Miramonte - the link provides dates/locations)
2. Players will report their results weekly no later than NOON each Friday. They must email a copy of their test results to Ann Thomas at email@example.com. You must submit your results every week, including spring break to be eligible to play.
Weekly test results are mandatory to participate. Typically results are received by Wednesday/Thursday after Monday testing. This will cover eligibility for competitions on Fri., and Sat.
Rapid Testing 72 hours prior to Competition:
Mandatory nasal swab rapid testing will be conducted at practices within 72 hours prior to competition (for matches on Mon.-Thurs.). Details will be provided via email.
Daily Practice Procedures:
1. Players need to arrive at Campolindo with masks on (required at all times on campus and while practicing).
2. Have your “Company Nurse” app ready with your daily completed “green check screen” for coaches to check you in prior to practice.
Failure to complete any of the above requirements will result in ineligibility to practice and compete.
California has agreed to let all high school sports resume!
Thanks to the tireless efforts of #LetThemPlay -a statewide parent/coach/student lead movement that provided data and facts and an overwhelming petition of support as to why school sports should be allowed as they are in every other state. Several lawsuits were filed and CIF and district restrictions were lifted.
Please give a shout out to the girls volleyball team members who rallied and pushed for sports for all. Never give up!
Volleyball try-outs for all three teams will be Monday, April 5th and Tuesday, April 6th. Plan to be there both days. More information to come.
As well, AUHSD is now inline with CIF and allowing athletes to participate in two sports simultaneously. Given the compacted, overlapping, and non-traditional seasons of sport this year, AUHSD has approved athletes participation in two Campo sports (in season or camps), at the same time as allowed per CIF rules. THIS MUST BE APPROVED BY BOTH SPORTS' HEAD COACHES. Please contact Campo AD, Ray Meadows at firstname.lastname@example.org for information and criteria.
Congratulations to all the players and coaches for an amazing season - DAL league champions, NCS finalist, NorCal champions & State Finalist in D1 making Campo history!
Please show your support for Campo's Girls Volleyball Program by making a donation and/or purchasing decals and spirit wear at the Campolindo Web Store .
Thank you for your generosity - we couldn't do it without you!
