Campo Boys Summer Soccer Sessions
We have added summer soccer dates to the team calendar. The suggested contribution is $275/player. Payment can be made here (on the Campo webstore). Contributions are much appreciated and go towards coach fees, team supplies and equipment and custodial charges.
This summer training program is not mandatory for any new or returning players. If your player is available to attend, they are welcome to join as many sessions as their schedule allows. It is a good time for the players to get extra touches, increase their stamina, improve specifics to their position, bond with their teammates, and for new players to Campo, a great place to meet current players, get a feel of the speed of play, and become familiar with the Campo facilities.
Each training session will consist of the following activities:
- Technical training with both feet. Mastering the ball, improving touches, moves, and turns.
- Passing patterns. Working on first touch, speed, accuracy, and driven balls.
- Positional play. Rondos and possession with pressure, so players make real time decisions based on defenders.
- Small-sided games with small goals.
- 11v11 big game with big goals.
