Coach Riley comes to Campolindo with over 25 years of coaching experience, at both the high school and collegiate levels. Most recently he was an Asst. Coach at San Joaquin Delta College and currently coaches the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the Cape Cod Baseball League, the most prestigious collegiate summer league in the United States. Former collegiate coaching stops for Riley include Santa Clara University where he served as the hitting and infield coach.
Coach Riley has had success at the high school level, having won 2 WCAL championships during his tenure at Serra High School, making it to the CCS Championship game once. He also led Menlo High School to a CCS Championship in 2017. He assisted with scouting for the Pittsburgh Pirates and was a former Team USA/NTIS Baseball Coach and evaluator. He has coached 10 athletes, in his high school coaching days, that have been drafted into the MLB.
Coach Riley grew up in Lowell Mass. He graduated from Lowell High School where he captained the basketball and baseball teams then went on to play at Chipola Jr. College (Marianna, Florida). He coached the Lowell American Legion Baseball Team to both a District Championship and State Runner up award in 2010, 2011.
Coach Riley has a deep understanding of how to develop high school athletes both on and off the field, and a proven track record of doing so.
