ANOTHER JV TEAM PARENT NEEDED: Ronit Jorgensen (Jacob's mom) has kindly offered to be one of our Team Parents, but we need one more. Duties involve overseeing carpool and snack sign-ups, organizing team lunches occasionally, managing our social fund, acting as a liaison between coach and parents, and helping to organize the end-of-season party. Feb. 24 JV Tennis match against Bishop O'Dowd cancelled due to rain. Has been rescheduled for Monday March 2, starting at 3:30 (3:00 warm-up), at HOME.

Tickets are required for entry for ALL Spectators, for all playoff events -- DAL, NCS, CIF. ASB And Booster Cards are not accepted for Admission to playoff events.

JV PRACTICE TIMES UNTIL MARCH 8
Monday and Wednesday 4:45-6:00
Tuesday and Thursday 5:00-6:00
After Daylight Savings: 5:00-6:30
The JV team plays Monday-Thursday, having either a practice or a match. We do not play on Friday-Sunday, except for two optional tournaments to which we travel, on Feb. 28 and April 18. Matches often require early release from last class period, and last until 5:30 generally, but sometimes 'til 6:30.

JV TENNIS TRYOUTS Thursday, Feb. 12 3:45-6:00pm and Friday, Feb. 13 9:00am-noon.
Plan to come both days, Friday will be during a school holiday.
You may try out for Varsity and, if not selected, then try out for JV. Or you may try out only for JV, according to your own assessment of your ability. Bring to tryouts: racquet, water bottle, warm clothes for when sitting out, shorts or pants with pockets for two tennis balls, visor or hat if desired. BE SURE YOU HAVE REGISTERED ONLINE AT THE SCHOOL WEBSITE AND HAVE RECEIVED YOUR OFFICIAL ATHLETIC CLEARANCE. THIS INVOLVES A DOCTOR'S EXAMINATION AHEAD OF TIME. WE CANNOT ALLOW YOU ON THE COURTS IF YOU ARE NOT CLEARED BY THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR.
